The once great country currently being ripped apart post Fall by the war between the Helion aligned TriCore Directorate and the genocidal Ultron

The country is fundamentally 'owned' by the magic arms and technology corperation, TriCore Dynamics, who moved swifty post Fall to recruit the Parisian Helfire Club members onto it's board or into it's employ and appropriate the authority of The Directorate (and it's name, reducing it to to no more then a puppet organisation).

Ultron, created by Tricore itself in an effort to create their own symdroid army based on S.H.I.E.L.D's War Machine models, utilising Vindicator Cosmic Energy lens technology.
